Confirmed to a source who passed it on, doubt it will make its way public so if he changes his mind its not a “vautour” switch although its a bit less high profile.

Cant confirm if it was before finians news or after so im not sure what to make of it yet

Cant see Finian Oscar making much of a difference to the decision.

Would be expecting a final decision to be made on Let’s Dance by tomorrow. Any word, ham, from your source?

Nothing atall, judging by what ricci said, the only hope of the switch to the neptune is if finians oscars demise has impacted his decision, i was told though that mullins would have preferred the neptune

This isn’t much of race, with Let’s Dance ideally wanting further and Airlie Beach just a run of the mill 140s horse on all known form. No doubt Ruby will ride Let’s Dance aggressively and look to get as much from the course as possible.

With La Bague Au Roi and Asthuria also likely to be up there making this into a test, there might be some value in looking for a hold-up horse to pick up the pieces. The Mullins horses don’t set quite the standard their prices would imply when you look at the figures.

For me, that brings Verdana Blue into play. She laughed at a pair of 125 horses at Taunton, has the right running style for this and could yet improve further with all this pace sure to suit her strong-travelling style, and turn of foot. I’ve taken her each-way at 16s.

Not sure if i totally agree, although obviously ill be slightly biased because ive backed airlie beach (heavily+sadly laid off for green book), but the closest anyones gotten to her was shattered love who she gave 7lbs to, 3rd place was 14 lengths away

Shattered love went on to destroy forge meadow whos what 4th in the market giving her weigbt so that form holds some substance

aside from that shes practically annhialted everything else, so to assume she will be run of the mill 140s is a bit premature, she may very well be though

Lets dance is probably the best horse in the race but can she drop back to this distance? If she handles it she will probably win….

Kayf grace worried me the most but shes out, La bague au roi worries me slightly , she has oozed potential and should improve for the better ground

Lets dance, airlie beach,la bague au roi….. everything else will have to step up a fair amount to get near them

Can’t oppose Let’s Dance in this. For the British Coillte Lass may grab a place.

A touch of unknown with Asthuria. Hard to tell how good she is because she keeps falling. I really hope Airlie Beach wins this

Forge Meadow of Jessies for me with a small each way on Verdana Blue.

The front two will be tricky to beat though!!

I’ll be looking to take on the top two in the market. I managed to get a good price this morning on Toe The Line who was still competing in Group 3’s on the flat last season and is 8lb better off for a short head defeat with Forge Meadow. At three times the price of Forge Meadow I’ve had a little EW. Best of the British could be La Bague Au Roi who was certainly going the right way before Christmas. Lay off is a concern but conditions should be ideal. Finally I shall be having an EW go on the French Horse Titi De Montmartre. This one will be held up at the back and if they go a good gallop I can see this one running on in to a place. Has won a couple of Grade 3’s at Auteuil & Enghien and should hopefully go on the ground as it’s by the same sire as the Supreme winner Labaik. Small stakes combination exactas on the three.

What worries me about LBAR, apart from the level of form, is that Greatrex missed all his targets here last year but yet again he chooses not to give a prep run to a horse that was initially a sticky jumper and may need this as a refresher in that regard.
