With Brighterdaysahead now 2/5 in places, I’ve cashed out my win bet on Lossiemouth.
I think the bookies know something we don’t and suspect Lossiemouth may be out altogether rather than just targeting the CH.
She was as big as 13/2 earlier on the exchange for the Mares.February 3, 2025 at 21:36 #1719780Willie Mullins commented yesterday after Lossiemouth’s fall, that as long as the owner wants to go to the Champion with Lossie he’s happy with that.
Ricci has been all for the Champion, can’t see him changing his mind, particularly as Brighterdaysahead will likely be as difficult to beat as Constitution Hill in the Champion… But it was a bad fall and injuries can take a day or two to come out. So unfortunately it wouldn’t be a surprise if something is wrong with Lossie’.

March 4, 2025 at 11:24 #1721804Joyeuse likely to be supplemented for this race, says Henderson.
Interesting.March 4, 2025 at 11:48 #1721807I take it the BDA decision and the going placing the emphasis on speed has made Golden Ace now more likely to come here for the Mares too?
Value Is EverythingMarch 4, 2025 at 18:59 #1721848I’ll happily go with Joyeuse once supplemented here, though I’m hoping that she’ll be a reasonable price

Ricci virtually confirming that Lossiemouth is running in this. So much for a two year plan (not pocket talk).
March 9, 2025 at 16:39 #1722298I’m keeping faith with Dysart Enos. Disappointing over hurdles so far but she’s up in trip for this and spring ground is what she needs. Her Greatwood run is looking better now than it perhaps did at the time. 33/1 EW.
March 9, 2025 at 19:54 #1722315I do like the look of the JULY FLOWER form. Won on good to yielding and those that have run since have added some weight to it.
Jetara 16 lengths back in third wins grade 2 next time, World Of Fortunes 4th beaten similar distance next time by Final Demand and then won subsequently. Got Glory, a faller when trying to close then fell again next time when looking like the winner.
I’ll take 12/1 3 places and also 5/1 3 places without Lossiemouth.March 10, 2025 at 03:57 #1722342Small each way on Jetara.
She’s not one to send them over for the sport Jessie Harrington and she’s tempting enough at 33’s.
March 10, 2025 at 17:09 #1722417I’m not having any negativity that Lossiemouth has been dropped here because she isn’t working as well as State Man
Reason she is running here is because Constitution Hill and Brighterdaysahead are running in the big one

March 10, 2025 at 17:15 #1722420As long as that fall hasn’t left a mark then she does look bulletproof
March 10, 2025 at 17:38 #1722422Had a good go on Golden Ace and was quite bullish, but the last 24 hours have been rather frustrating.
I should leave it alone, but I’ll have a small go on Dysart Enos who was an exciting prospect coming into last year’s festival before getting a setback.
March 10, 2025 at 22:34 #1722479No interest in this usually, and was hoping that Jetara would go Stayers, but now that she comes here, I’ll join Tizz at the 33’s

March 11, 2025 at 06:55 #1722506Jade de Grugy 5s win only
(but abusing the boylesports free bet if 2nd to the SP fav concession)
If Lossie isn’t fit enough well enough and happy enough to go to the champion hurdle, is she well enough to beat these?
Jade de Grugy is a gorgeous mare, it’s quite soon after her prep but she won that easily and last year she was tough enough to go from Cheltenham to the G1 at Fairyhouse.March 11, 2025 at 08:45 #1722517Rory Delargy said he had a deep-ish delve into mares and geldings after a fall and the consensus was the mares recent memory of one was more negatively impactful on their next run.
