There was an interesting discussion on TRF regarding this horse before he ran at Cheltenham.
An interesting race to start him off in and even more interestingly, he’s been backed for it
Are those same TRFers fancying him again???

Not the same Manhattan Boy who only won sellers at Plumpton, I take it ?
October 11, 2007 at 18:58 #119031No, though there should really be a way of protecting names of horses like that too, because people become very fond of them whether they are winning sellers or something better.
Perhaps any horse that wins at the same track a certain number of times should get its name "retired".
I remember in Manhattan Boy’s Plumpton heyday, the clerk of the course reckoned that it put 500 on the gate every time he raced.
