You can see my thread re GTL on the RSA pages. Fist of Fury seems to be disagreeing with me but there are few tougher and more experienced chasers likely to turn up for the RSA and I am currently very happy with my rather large priced ante post bets on him.
He’ll be placed in a future GC of that I am very confident.
December 30, 2008 at 00:22 #200281Gerald – on the point of reminiscence Maori Venture won the race that season and jumped uncharacteristically well. Think he crashed out in his next race at Haydock before winning the GN
December 30, 2008 at 02:16 #200305Thanks Pilgarlic.
I assume with your moniker that you’ll be contributing the winner to the GN thread in a couple of months’ time?
December 30, 2008 at 03:51 #200320I`ll be after timing as usual I should think Gerald
December 30, 2008 at 21:36 #200456Given his history, it’s probably bigger than 3/1 that you will see MT on a racecourse again this season, after that crashing fall.
Wish I was in sunny Penikuik having a few beers with you and you had just had a yankee up…..love to take a few quid off you on that one….horse is A-OK and I stand by what I said. Nicky Richards won’t aim him too highly and he went into a thousand note books after that run.
