What do you guys think the outcome of this match will be and what chances do you give Leeds?
At 16/1 with VC i think Leeds are worth a few bob considering they will be chomping at the bit to have a go at United. They gave a strongish Liverpool side a run for their money in the Carling Cup and deserved more from that match.
Plus it would be great to see United fall at the first hurdle.

January 3, 2010 at 11:18 #267317As much as I’d love to see us get a result Nathan I just can’t see it happening. A draw would be a fantastic result but I can’t see that either.
I think the occasion will get to a few of the lads and as much as I don’t want them to I can see Man Utd winning comfortably.
Larry has done a fantastic job since he took over and is a real manager of the future, the way he always conducts himself and the things he says are always spot on, he’s got us playing good football, but most importantly he’s instilled that winning mentality which is so important.
You’d think with that I’d be pretty confident, but I’m not. We did play well against Liverpool, but I don’t see their team with resting players half as strong as United’s. For some reason, against the better teams we’ve played this seaosn, we’ve been totally outplayed a couple of times and been lucky to get a result, we were extremely lucky to beat Norwich at home and to get a point against Hudderfield.
Beckford is our main threat and has been in the goals lately, but he seems to go missing in the big games and usually misses 3 before he gets one and I don’t think he’ll be afforded that luxury today. My confidence in our keeper is pretty thin aswell.
A decent effort from Leeds and a harsh 3-0 scoreline is my prediction..
January 3, 2010 at 13:53 #267351Ha, what do I know!
Terrific 1st half from us, I’m absolutely staggered at how many good chances we’ve created in 45 mins.. I know they’ve had chances, but I fully expected that, I just didn’t expect us to have that many good chances in the whole game never mind the 1st 45..
They look uncomfortable when crosses go in the box, both Becchio and Johnson should have done far better with headers, but I’m delighted so far…
Still fear the worst though!

January 3, 2010 at 15:01 #267367Top call Nathan; hope you’ve won a good bit.
January 3, 2010 at 17:35 #267393VC are the only firm offering odds at this moment in time for the FA outright and go Arsenal 6/1 currently 1-0 down at West Ham and have Leeds 100/1
which although i cant see Leeds winning the cup is far too big, must be trying to get some of their money back, might have a couple of quid on that because Leeds are capable of progressing and with a bit of luck with the draw could get through a few rounds and then lay them off.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026

January 4, 2010 at 11:31 #267569Great result for Leeds Utd.
Unfortunately for them, Tottenham will prove a hurdle too far.
Chelsea are my idea of FA CUP winners. In fact they could win the double this year. Arsenal aside, can’t see many teams troubing them on the road to Wembley. Help yourselves.

January 14, 2010 at 12:02 #269800What are the odds like for Chelsea doing the double this season? Any pointers gladly accepted please.
January 14, 2010 at 16:39 #269878Welcome to the forum Martin.
I had a look on oddschecker but couldn’t see any specific odds for the double, however Chelsea are around 10/11 for the title and are a top price of 3/1 for the FA Cup which is in decimal odds 7.63 for the double.
good luck.
