Finally got another in tonight , I’ve had a number of 3 out 4s this flat season but tonight was the night , even inc as twisting Goldie nag , £1.50 into £188 is a good night and gives me my ammo for Hamilton on Sunday
June 11, 2025 at 21:20 #1732756Think I have been doing L15s for over thirty years and I don’t recall having all four, maybe once. Mind you I tend to do larger prices horses and have had three a few times and pulled £998 just over a year ago.
The more I know the less I understand.
June 11, 2025 at 21:51 #1732760My best was a 3 out 3 ( non runner ) Hennessy winner , Skelton horse and the cherry on the cake was this…. bar Lord Windermere winning the GC it was my best ever bet , near £500 quid from £1.50

I stopped doing multiple bets some years ago but had a few good results.I've stumbled on the side of twelve misty mountains
I've walked and I crawled on six crooked highwaysJune 12, 2025 at 06:23 #1732776Nice bet, HDLG.
I haven’t done a Lucky 15 for a while. Overall they are in the bookmaker’s favour (1 defeat, 8 bets down).
Do they still go treble odds for one winner? I recall one small independent bookmakers in Liverpool and Bootle going five times the odds, although that offer unsurprisingly didn’t last for long.
I had 4 winners up about 3 or 4 times. The first one was on Brigadier Gerard evening at Sandown, probably about 20 years ago now.
I have had all 4 placed in an each way Lucky 15 several times. Those each way doubles, trebles and accumulator can add up!
June 12, 2025 at 07:06 #1732779I do them with Betfred and they are treble odds on a single winner I think many moons ago Mecca gave double the odds.
The more I know the less I understand.
June 12, 2025 at 07:58 #1732781I think most firms go double the odds. Treble is quite a good concession. But on balance, bookmakers love multiples. They know they are stacked in their favour.
Even if someone wins something like a six figure sum, the marketing department will be delighted. It is great publicity and they have probably made more money from the mugs playing the slots that same day.
