March 26, 2025 at 16:49 #1724878He was at the Beaufort team chase on the same day so assuming it was a fatal injury/fall while participating
March 26, 2025 at 17:07 #1724880Oh no, one of my favourites, really gutting news. Just had to rewatch the wonderful video taken by his rider in 2023 when they won the yeomanry ride, they were only supposed to be having a quiet school round the course but he was just too good!
So sad for all his connections to lose him after only a couple of years into retirement, such a talented horse.
RIP LostintranslationMarch 26, 2025 at 17:14 #1724882Sorry to hear this news. I had forgotten he was still racing as recently as 2023.
At his peak he defeated Bristol De Mai around his favourite Haydock. Unfortunately he never seemed quite the same afterwards, although he did have one last hurrah at Ascot.
Condolences to his connections.
March 26, 2025 at 17:41 #1724887Sad news. RIP.
March 26, 2025 at 23:14 #1724900I remember he ran in the blue and yellow colours of The Minions in honour of his co owners 3 year old son Charlie Taylor who died in a tragic accident.😪
So sad that he has died at such a relatively young age so soon into his retirement, he was a real character.
Condolences to all his connections.RIP Lostintranslation 🌹
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 27, 2025 at 00:11 #1724901Yes. It’s a double sadness isn’t it because of his connection with the little boy.
March 30, 2025 at 09:00 #1725161He looked a superstar at Haydock , sadly never the same after it
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
