Losing September

I have a system that shows a hansome profit all year round except the month of September .
looking at my spread sheet today I have lost in Semptember for the last 3 years , yet follow the same rules as of every other month with out lost . Does anyone have any ideas why ? or is it just a coincidence

last month 131 but can be as high as 198 , average 130 ish

Could be an awkward time of year with some horses ‘over the top’ after a tough season, 3yos losing some of their edge in handicaps etc.

Whatever the reason, you might have to smallball it in this month until you find some correlation.

Yes you’re right Stew, it is probably a coincidence. More than likely you’ll find the other months showing a loss too sooner or later.

I’d say that’s enough bets to suggest it may be more than a coincidence.
Is September all flat bets and October mixed…? Flat and Jumps…? Might be worth having a look on how flat only gets on in October as you’d still get the end of season horses over the top, change of weather problems.
