interesting to note it runs at kempton today, it was entered in the king george until the 5 day stage, if williams thought it had a chance against kauto it must be worth a few shillings against this lot, chipmunk
December 27, 2007 at 10:28 #132043Given there is a ratings gap of something like 55lbs between Lord Jay Jay and Kauto Star, if Evan Williams seriously thought his horse had a chance in the King George, he should be pointed in the direction of the nearest pharmacy as soon as possible.
Bible Lord wins that race.
December 27, 2007 at 11:17 #132050Looks a competitive race
Probably one to leave alone , but FWIW i like the look of last years 2nd Yardbird
December 27, 2007 at 11:39 #132051I really like Bible Lord, who did me a couple of favours last year, BUT (and, like me, that’s a big but) he patently doesn’t stay 3 miles.
He might get away with it here as he is the best horse and it is only Kempton, but the ground is soft enough to make it a bit of a test and he won’t be carrying any of my ill-gotten gains today…
December 27, 2007 at 12:22 #132061Jury is still out on whether Bible Lord gets 3m I think NV, rather than the horse ‘patently does not stay’. He travelled sweet in the Hennessy for a long spell, and I’d be reasonably confident that he will see it out well enough today.
