Oh no. He was one of my favourites. What happened to him? (I don’t do twitter)

    RIP Lord Jay Jay

He fell when well in the lead and the race apparenly his for the taking and it didn’t seem that bad a fall at first sight but he couldn’t get up and I’m guessing it might have been his shoulder. Have to say I haven’t had the heart to watch it again. Perhaps someone else will post….

One of my favourites too. Could be a thrilling performer on a going day. Saw it on ATR. Seemed to be enjoying himself and jumping well until getting the first in the home straight wrong. If there`s a consolation it`s that he appeared to be loving it. Condolences to those involved. He`d had quite a few yards but think his owner Jan Johnson had him throughout.

    Very sorry to hear this.
Nearly won for me at 100/1 in a race at Aintree a couple of years ago.

    RIP old boy.
