KEENAN’S FUTURE
A horse I think could go well today in the 4.20 at Punchestown.
This race will be run over 3 miles 6, on soft ground with 25 runners, so clearly not a race for the life savings. However, this Ian Williams trained horse looks like one who should go well at a nice price.
Keenan’s Future is the only horse in the field that’s won over the trip for starters, which is a huge bonus. The horse has won on soft groud also.
Keenan’s Future ran in this same race 12 months ago, when falling 5 out. The horse was badly injured by that fall and had 9 months off the track.
Having pulled up on his first start back, Keenan’s Future has since run two sound races, with a win and a second from two runs at Warwick over 3 miles 5 on soft ground.
The horse should now be spot on, and looks to have been aimed at this race.
Ian Williams isn’t one to send horses across the Irish sea to the festival for nothing, so I’d expect a good run today from Keenan’s Future under conditions that will clearly suit.
At the 16/1 best odds guaranteed with Paddy Power this morning, this looks a nice each way bet.

Still worth an each-way punt though and Paddy Power paying 5 places as well which is nice
