    Some horses are just better either fresh or a particular time of year or best (or more consistent) a particular way around. Crambo could be any or more than one of the three, best fresh, best in the Winter and / or best right-handed. :good:

    Hope Strong Leader is ok.
    If nothing amiss, maybe he didn’t like going right-handed. Although some appear to jump straight, I believe it’s often the leg they prefer to lead on going around turns that can also make a difference. Or being crowded. Got squeezed up at the start and lost a bit of ground, finding himself held up amongst rivals. Jumped ok for him, until around 4 out. I wouldn’t give up on him going the other way around.
