First visit yesterday and to say I fell in love with the place is an understatement.
Lovely view, lovely track, lovely food, lovely people, four lovely winning bets, lovely everything!
Though I have yet to ride my first winner I would venture the opinion that on a track with a sub 100 yards run in from the last fence you want to have the race won by the time you jump it – and preferably from three out tbh, especially if your mount stays 3m 4f and they have hunted round the first 2m 4f of a 3m contest.
Am I taking to the two jockeys who committed the crime of not winning on two horses I backed?
Obviously! =D

The course layout seems very similar to that of Godstone, which used to be my local track.
