This time I don’t want too much rain to hit so no doubt it will be a washout turning the ground heavy.
KINGSWOOD the current market leader at 9/4, headed in the last yards over 10f at the Irish champs festival in a good handicap. Should appreciate the drop in a furlong here but is stepping up in class so I’ll take him on with MIRAMIS @ 7/1.
Recent fillies listed winner over 7f, then ran well in a fillies group 3 next time over an extended 7f. Matilda Picotte boosted that form when scooting away in a stakes race on Sunday. MIRAMIS has won over the trip so it shouldn’t hold any issues but I wouldn’t want the ground to be any worse than soft. Also, some good races to get involved with on the card, I’ve got a few on so good luck to me. And to you if you play.
September 19, 2023 at 11:34 #1663604I backed kingswood in said handicap and felt a little aggrieved he didn’t win
Hit the front way too soon and gave the eventual winner a nice target to aim at
This looks a very winnable race for him
But iv seen him race a few times now and he’s looked a bit soft in the finish more than once so perhaps not one to get stuck into at a short price

September 19, 2023 at 16:59 #1663653Unlucky chivers thought you had that
Kingswood didn’t travel at all so glad I never invested
Was either the track or the quick back to back runs
