    Amidst the hot takes about the new names for the Overground rail lines that seems to be annoying the usual commentariat, I had a thought about one of the line names.

    Liberty Line.

    Rubbish name for a train track. Because it sounds more like a solid handicapper, regularly ‘close up to leaders, mistake 6th, faded from 2 out’ in 0-105 handicap hurdles for conditional jockeys at one of the regional tracks, like Plumpton or Fakenham.

    There, wanted to share this but thought it too niche for Twitter.

    Superb, going by the thread title it did have the look of something that should have been in the main racing section.
