Sir Gerhard for me in this each way, while there are still three places. 25-1
December 27, 2024 at 00:14 #1716478Noble Yeats best priced 7’s, but holding off to see if I can beat it.
I’d love to bet Hewick too, but at their odds, I’ll go with just the one
Edit
First bet at 20’s
Noble Yeats 20’s
December 28, 2024 at 02:31 #1716710Joseph O’Brien is in fantastic form and Home By The Lee is imo a good bet @ arond 9/4. Step up to 3m likely to suit him more than old rival Bob Olinger. Although neither is certain to be as effective on drying ground. Asterior Forlonge has a chance, but he’s imo even more likely not to act on it. Might need his reappearance too.
Hewick is the one that definitely goes on the ground. However, his “new trainer” hasn’t done that well yet. Didn’t come across to defend his King George crown. So is he able to show his best? For that reason is only a saver for me.
Have had a small bet on outsider Beacon Edge @ 33/1. I quite like front running outsiders because sometimes rival jockeys give them more rope. Not certain to go on but should be prominent and if HBTL is to get beat I suspect it’ll be one of the leaders. Beacon Edge is the other horse sure to act on the ground.
Value Is EverythingDecember 28, 2024 at 11:16 #1716749Bob Olinger looks a changed character and has a 5lb pull today , he looks the value bet
