Some of the jockeys tomorrow:
Jason Edmunds
Adrian Nicholls
William Kennedy
Russ Kennemore
Mark Enright
Megan Nicholls
Mattie BatchelorI know it is for a good cause. But with the best will in the world, isn’t the word “Legends” being stretched to breaking point here?
September 16, 2023 at 17:58 #1663329No King Arthur, no Merlin – can’t remember any of these “Legends” ever being at Camelot.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"September 16, 2023 at 18:10 #1663330Why is it called Leger Legends?
The closest any of them got was probably Megan as a pundit. The more I know the less I understand.
September 16, 2023 at 18:43 #1663333There are a few former top jockeys taking part. Davy Russell, Richard Johnson, Seb Sanders etc.
Maybe it should be called the Veteran Riders Race, instead of trying to make some sort of word association between Leger and Legend.
September 16, 2023 at 18:46 #1663334I’m just relieved to have got through St Leger week without seeing it spelt “Ledger.”
It’s probably because I’m swerving great swathes of social media nowadays.

September 16, 2023 at 19:17 #1663341Yes, fair point! She has already had a bad enough week.
September 16, 2023 at 19:19 #1663343Maybe she’s trying to prove she’s up for the Amo gig
The more I know the less I understand.
September 16, 2023 at 19:51 #1663351Daresay they’ll all have the chance to have a crack at that eventually RTB!
September 15, 2024 at 20:35 #1707835Sammy Jo Bell must like this race. She rode her third winner in it today. This time at 10/1, after an 11/1 winner in 2022 and 5/1 in 2019.
September 16, 2024 at 08:12 #1707845Miss Nicholls made a big enough gap for her to come through poor Megan although in good humour she was clearly gutted.
The more I know the less I understand.
