    Just took an absolutely horrible fall in the 3.15 at Kempton. I felt sick seeing that one, poor, poor horse. The fall was bad enough but then he got trampled. RIP Legal Eyes 😪

    Worst I’ve seen for a long time. Does make you think if it’s all worth it….shocking

    I love our sport to bits. But I watched today’s racing with my partner who was horrified by it….rightly so. I’m not sure it’s fine just to accept it as part of horse racing.

    I’ll defend this sport to the hill but incidents like today our extremely difficult to justify.

    I too love the sport Rocky and I can barely watch the jumps or hurdle racing and see these beautiful horses fall and injure themselves and the incident concerning poor Legal Eyes that you have all described so vividly is so sad poor boy.

    I was struggling to watch The Jam Man jump round Cheltenham the other day worrying that he would fall and injure himself after the little McNally lad had declared his love for him on The Opening Show and Legal Eyes would have had a doting lad or lass going home with an empty horse box .. it breaks your heart.

    Really upsetting to see such a horrific fall. Must have been so much worse for his connections to witness. A couple of other nasty-looking falls in that race too. Hope the others are ok. R.I.P. Legal Eyes

    Yes, that poor, exhausted horse that was tailed off being made to continue upset me even before poor Legal Eyes fell.
