Not sure which part of the forum this should be on so I’ll start here. I have been doing a little research over the last six weeks with regards to increasing my chances of winning a placepot or two. Whilst doing this it has thrown up certain trends. Since the beginning of August it has thrown up 16 races to lay the favourite of which 14 have lost and of those 14, 9 have been unplaced which is not a bad strike rate. Odds have ranged from 5/6 to 9/2. The two failures(winning favs) were 9/4 & 7/4. Both odds on favourites were also unplaced so maybe an opportunity to lay those at a place for less risk ? The only slight problem is that at the moment I am basing it on unnamed favourites so unless there is a clear favourite its sometimes a tad tricky to ascertain what the favourite will be. Unusually there are six qualifiers today which I have listed below. I have done this because you can bet once you put in print your selections, the system will go tits up
