Record not great in this, so shouldn’t really be considering an Antepost, but I’ve went with Ch’Tibello.
Been a regular of mine for years, and though a bit up and down, still reckon he’s got plenty of ability, and happy to see him at this trip. 14’s looks fair with 7lb claimer booked.
I’ll definitely add Dans Le Vent on the day, and I’d give him a huge chance on his Relkeel run, but this is quick enough turnaround, and I’ll wait and see if he’s declared.
Ch’Tibello 14’s
Dans Le VentJanuary 11, 2022 at 12:01 #1577488I’ve had a peek at previous stats for the race and Quinto Do Mar hits enough of the trends for me to back him at 16s (clipped into 12s since yesterday i notice).
January 13, 2022 at 13:52 #1577840I think that 33/1 ew 7pcs for William Henry is a very fair bet. I’m very confident that he can fill a place here.
January 13, 2022 at 23:08 #1577927Autumnal, I had a look at him again, and I agree, that looks a fair EW bet. He’s getting bet just now by the look of things, so I only got to the five places with Bet365.
My problem now is that with Dans Le Vent declared, in a race where I have a terrible record, I’m going to have three. Ch’tibello wasn’t a massive Antepost, so he’ll not get added to, happy enough with the 14’s.
Ch’tibello 14’s
Dans Le Vent 12’s
William Henry 33’s EW 5 PlacesJanuary 14, 2022 at 13:25 #1577967Gelino Bello ew 6 places

So don't run, just like the others always do
January 15, 2022 at 10:09 #1578114I’m joining Wilts on Cabot Cliffs though I’m a bit less bold and will go ew. I’ll have a little ew on Monte Cristo too. I think he has a decent engine although perhaps fences will turn out to be more his thing.
January 15, 2022 at 12:31 #1578151Looks a lot stronger race then recent years, good to see. I like Dans Le Vent here. Travelled like a dream in the Stayers handicap hurdle at Haydock and won. His last race was a decent one in the Relkeel hurdle, that was without the jockey allowance. The 2m5f on soft ground should perfectly suit him and with Isabel Williams claiming 5 again still on a good mark.
Also a saver on Foster’sisland. A very big price for someone who is top form.
Dans Le Vent 12/1
Foster’sisland 33/1 EWJanuary 15, 2022 at 14:17 #1578170Another for william henry 7 places e/w @ 22/1
January 15, 2022 at 14:41 #1578178Ch’tibello looks really well treated and is worth a go
January 15, 2022 at 14:46 #1578179For the love of good why didn’t he let them go the first time, absolutely nothing wrong with that line up – damn didn’t expect Ch’tibello to fall and took out Green Book too. Eventfull already
