Alexei is a horse who’s really impressed me, but missed the boat with him. I’d love to see him go well here, and put himself in The Champion Hurdle picture
As it is though, I’ll go a very predictable route with Faivoir. Best priced 12’s, but I’ll try and beat that

Think I can answer this. VtC comes along-sometimes in the middle of the night – and carefully bumps all the threads of races yet to be run, in nice neat order, so they appear above the old big race threads and nobody makes a duplicate thread for a race because they haven’t seen the old one. Then we come along the next day and messy it all up again like toddlers, doing things like arguing about the Fighting Fifth a week after it was run.
Happens on a lot of forum if your thread is dropping down the list through lack of supplies you “bump” it up to the top with a post and as Green says it helps to stop duplicates.
The more I know the less I understand.
I had a decent bet on Alexei for this Saturday afternoon. Thought I was sitting on a golden ticket to wonkas factory at 5/1 with laddys when a lot of places were 7/2.
Then Joe Tizzard came along yesterday afternoon and stated he might send him
To the Kempton Xmas hurdle instead.And with that, Xmas was ruined!

Still Faivoir for me in this, but not convinced this will be the plan, and reckon The County Hurdle will be main plan. Covering him anyway, and started chipping away. No shock if I could beat this on the day if he goes

I went for Live Conti 14/1 EW, I think he won’t be that price on the day and also a saver on Alexei at the above mentioned 9/2 WIN only.
Just like VtC I’m a big fan of Favoir. Third in the Greatwood, still on the same weight, but yet again a big price. Also have to back Wilful. The Welsh Champion Hurdle is always a strong race. He ended up third behind Celtic Dino and Alexei who are rated 10 and 20 pounds higher now.
