    Well none of that lot are going to win the Gold Cup but that was an exciting finish. WD VtC! Great for the Sloans to win their local big race.

    Great race. The winner had to be really tough.

    Presenting Percy now looks like a real bridle horse. Travelled like the best but found nothing.

    Sorry DBR didn’t flick back and see you put him up. What a good horse for connections. Just had my 50p ew on Tout est Permis and was happy with his run but I think that’s about his limit. He’s a small horse and didn’t jump especially efficiently at times.

    Great race, better finish. Thought the race commentary was excellent too. Really built the finish to a crescendo, and very accurately.

    Completely agree tatling, it was a real spectacle. Fair enough a few were having their season opener but storyteller is tough as old boots and has improved since last year. Well done vtc

    The Storyteller is a proper old fashioned chaser isn’t he. If anything better than him shows any chinks in their armour, he can capitalise.
