Highfield princess 5/1
Nothing imaginative with this one
Impressive winner of the Nunthorpe, maurice de gheest and flying five
Set to have a prep run then head to Royal ascot
Entered in both group 1 sprints but I’d hope she runs here
She’s comfortably the best 5f sprinter in Europe just a question if what the aussies and Americans send over
May 17, 2023 at 15:20 #1648119Highfield Princess 5-1
May 17, 2023 at 22:21 #1648191Trainer John Quinn said : “Nobody knows from year to year will a horse retain its ability and she was a mare going from five to six but she showed all her enthusiasm.
“She always comes on for her first run and will be running in Group 1s now and won’t have a penalty. The King’s Stand is her next target, she’s got speed to burn.”
Target confirmed
The stiff 5 at ascot will suit her perfectly
May 30, 2023 at 16:13 #1649623Tenebrism scratched from the 6f race and only in this
Somewhat bafflingly imo
Given she’s looked better over 6f and this looks a stronger race with Highfield princess and coolangatta likely lining up
June 11, 2023 at 13:59 #1651212I absolutely cannot have Highfield Princess beaten in this – biggest King’s Stand certainty since Marwell in 1981.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"June 11, 2023 at 18:50 #1651262I’ve stuck with Dramatized here at 6-1
June 13, 2023 at 13:16 #1651376As an Aussie punter I am sure Coolangatta is a better horse than Cannonball who has form around Mariamia, Uncommon James and Athelric. That trio are really solid horses but Coolangatta is better than them all.
June 14, 2023 at 14:40 #165146520 confirmed entries.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"June 16, 2023 at 11:18 #1651630Its interesting with regards to this race the different breeding seasons in the Northern and Southern Hemisphere and how that impacts on WFA in this race and indeed others if applicable. Coolangatta isn’t 4 until the end of October and she’s not 4 in the sense that a 4yo would be 4 from January over here until August but she gets treated by the weights as if she’s an older filly/mare, indeed carries the same weight as Highfield Princess. Now I get they turn their birthday in August not January, my question if anyone knows is why is the WFA being removed before August, she’s a 3yo surely? She’s only 6 months older than Dramatised strictly on birthdays. It might not make much difference I’m sure it happened to Merchant Navy in the Jubilee or whatever the 6F race is called this year a few years ago too.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"June 18, 2023 at 17:39 #1651915After what Nature Strip did last year and with that same horse being beaten by Coolangatta last time in Oz, I am surprised that she isn’t the market leader.
There were reports the team weren’t happy with her last piece of work before leaving the country but more recent reports suggest she traveled well, is back on it and all set. 7/2 is sweet.June 18, 2023 at 17:47 #1651917Coolangatta is definitely a big player
She has much more on her plate than nature strip did though
Once irad ortiz blew any chance golden pal had nature strip was running against a field of listed grade sprinters like twilight calls
Hopefully be a good clash between Highfield princess and coolangatta
You’d imagine the quality pace in the race may came from 1 and 2 with coolangatta and twilight gleaming
If Highfield princess can draft just off them i’d fancy her to finish the strongest
June 18, 2023 at 21:53 #1651943I still like Highfield Princess and FF91’s 5/1 looks like grand larceny to me.

June 19, 2023 at 22:54 #1652083Thought that Dramatized was maybe the sensible option here, while I chewed over Mooneista for a good while, especially around 40’s
Went with Desert Cop in the end, and just hoping that the 5f makes a (big) difference.

June 20, 2023 at 00:07 #1652102happy romance at 60s, only ran over 6f here, 1/2 length behind HP the fav, will reverse it back at 5 and win this cosily, nice price in a truely woeful group 1
June 20, 2023 at 08:29 #1652123Going with the Australian horse in this.
Don’t know a thing about Australian form just thought she looked a monster.Coolangatta – WIN
