This horse caught my eye immediately scanning through tomorrows Lingfield card.
Was with O’Brien earlier this season and won its debut very well, then came last when favourite for a listed race in Ireland.
You don’t normally see high profile horses from Ballydoyle switch to smaller stables in the UK Changed hands for 34,000gns and is a fascinating contender.
Remember seeing quotes for RP trophy at one point…

was the only 2yo from the flat this year that had me scratching my head

I awarded him one of the highest speed figures of
78
to any 2yo making his debut, making him a pattern class horse in my book.
He has to have had a problem for Ballydoyle to get rid of him and his price this morning of
6/1
tells us that.
I have the favourite
Yarroom
at the top of my AW speed figures with a rating of
74
and I expect the winner of this race to top my 2yo AW speed figure list

In conclusion, if
King George River
has only maintained
80%
of the the ability he showed on his debut run, it would make him a
steering job
in this company
December 22, 2012 at 14:55 #423894I think you’re right, he must of had some problems for Ballydoyle to get rid of him, looks quite regressive. Stayed on well to finish 3rd today but handicap company looks the next step.

speed figure of

today, proves that he still retains at least
83%
of his ability, with more to come
.Yarroom
my top rated horse, nearly equalled his best speed figure of
74
but found giving away
5lbs
too much.
The going allowance today was
+0.27s/f
per furlong (standard to fast)
