Thanks FF
Thought something must be amissBlackbeard to conquer the World
October 30, 2022 at 11:11 #1620994“Err, Allaho won the Punchestown Gold Cup over 3m1f by 14 lengths last time out.”
Um, yeah, I forgot about that. Also- if the trainer was so sure he was a non stayer he wouldn’t have even run in the Albert Bartlett and RSA.
October 30, 2022 at 11:58 #1621004Allaho is a monster
If he turns up he will win
And iv backed bravemansgame
Bravemansgame is though probably the only staying chaser in training that has the cruising speed and jumping to go with him and not be going so fast he’s out of his comfort zone
Still think allaho would have Bravemansgame absolutely legless though
He goes so quick the dour stayers can’t keep up and so that also the horses that aren’t the strongest stayers are knackered in the final half a mile
And he does that whilst he’s in third gear leaving a field of grade 1 winners trailing in his wake like at punchestown
Basically he’s just very good, the best staying chaser in training. I firmly believe he’d beat a plus tard over 3 miles.
I hope he doesn’t run though as I’m on BMG
October 30, 2022 at 13:54 #1621026If Allaho handles the track (UK appearances been at Cheltenham in March), it’ll be difficult for any horse to keep up with him in the home straight imo. He’ll have a prep beforehand if he does go and Mullins will want to win it, I don’t think the horse will be ‘undercooked’ as it were.
October 31, 2022 at 21:14 #1621191I’d like to see First Lieutenant finally get a chance at the King George

I’ll probably go for Franco De Port and Royal Pagaille, but I’ll wait and see just how big a price I can nab on the pair, while I’m actually giving Noble Yeats a chance here too.
November 1, 2022 at 17:26 #1621274I see the BHA have somehow put Bravemansgame up to 164 for simply running to form on Saturday.
Still leaves him with a mountain to climb though.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"November 2, 2022 at 16:25 #1621331The prospect of Allaho and Bravemansgame running is encouraging, but I’d be reluctant to bet either at this stage, especially Allaho, who looks so tempting being odds against.
The interesting one for me is Clan Des Obeaux. If he runs, then it’s almost guaranteed that he’s over his setback, as Nicholls wouldn’t risk him otherwise. At this stage, an interesting ew proposition at 20-1
November 10, 2022 at 17:54 #1622463Allaho not running in the clonmel oil chase
I’d say the likelihood of him running in the King George is now much much lower
BMG a sea of blue
Looking at the betting the only actual guaranteed runners I’m seeing below 20/1 are BMG, Envoi allen and frodon
Frodon is 25/1 when this cuts up he will be 10/1
November 10, 2022 at 20:43 #1622476Allaho probably gets the 3m at kempton but he’s not bombproof at the distance and I’d be in no rush to take the prices being offered.
A massive price is millers bank. Some very solid form in novice chases over 3m last year. Was developing a habit of getting rid of his jockey but jumped much better last time out at Carlisle. Form of that race very solid and 40’s is very fair.
November 10, 2022 at 20:47 #1622477“I’ll probably go for Franco De Port and Royal Pagaille”
Franco de Port entered in the Prix La Haye Jousselin on Sunday with a view to more practice for the Grand Steep so I don’t think he’s likely to go to Kempton unless he misses the boat or bounces his jockey off at the first or something.
November 10, 2022 at 21:18 #1622481“Allaho not running in the clonmel oil chase

November 10, 2022 at 21:21 #1622482Switched to BMG 2-1 for now. Could be an even money shot if Allaho rerouted.
November 10, 2022 at 21:24 #1622483“Allaho probably gets the 3m at kempton but he’s not bombproof at the distance”
He’s won over 3m1f at Punchestown!
Am I the only one with a form-book with this race in it?
Has everyone else had the page ripped out?

Yep, it’s a punt and i feel the going needs to be good (risky expecting that on 26th Dec!) and the two at the top of the betting will need a major ‘Offday’.
Not much to ask for, is it?!November 10, 2022 at 23:55 #1622489And he didn’t just win Ian
He absolutely routed them
They were strung out all over punchestown
One of the best performances of the season and everyone has forgotten
Time to refresh some memories
November 11, 2022 at 05:20 #1622496FF not forgotten but the question I asked still stands ,Bravesmansgame will be 100% cherry ripe , Allaho still has chelt as his goal
