Hannon saying Voyage is definitely heading to Ascot for the King Edward VII Stakes.

June 13, 2024 at 16:24 #1697746Surprised that Highbury is supposedly going Queens Vase rather than here.
June 15, 2024 at 17:39 #1698018Good news is Ascot has so far missed the rain
Good news is Voyage is 16/1 for this raceBlackbeard to conquer the World
June 15, 2024 at 18:08 #1698019Can’t believe he’s 16s. Had to take some of that.
June 15, 2024 at 18:17 #1698021Are they putting a jockey on him?
The things I want most in life are the things that I can't win.
June 15, 2024 at 18:28 #1698024No, they will probably be using Pat Dobbs again.
June 16, 2024 at 12:59 #1698071THEORY OF TIDES 8/1 Hills
Unbeaten horse 2 from 2 not been in listed or group races but type of horse Gosden chuck in a race like this.
June 18, 2024 at 13:07 #1698364He was really disappointing in The Derby, but Macduff is my bet here. Not convinced he’ll trap, but I know I’d bet him if declared, so as much as I think he’s risky right now, I’ve taken him.
Macduff 25’s EW
June 20, 2024 at 18:36 #1698963My selections,
Diego Velasquez at 5s
Chief Little Rock w/o 2 favs at 5sGlad, As we’ve already discussed, I don’t really take anything from Voyage’s Derby run but I hope he runs well for you all the same.
June 20, 2024 at 18:59 #1698971Diego Velazquez ew 4 places
June 20, 2024 at 23:43 #1699008Joined in with VOYAGE at 14/1 who we all know could be anything but I’m not sure the Derby riderless win really gave anything away as was giving 9 stone to everything else.
Also put a small bet on HARPER’S FERRY at 40/1 as that looked a bigger price than should have been. Others must think so too as he’s around 25/1 now.June 21, 2024 at 09:33 #1699058Mondo Man @ 18’s
Ground is an unknown but Mondialiste was a fast ground horse, faster the better anyway from what i remember. Still a big unknown however you look at it.
Besides that, he is 6 times the price of the FAV, joint highest rated and looks to be crying out for further given how he was finishing last time after being miles back the whole race.
June 21, 2024 at 13:29 #1699129I’m with VTC,
Macduff ruined his chance by getting a bit above himself in the Derby beforehand. Too free and didn’t seem to handle the track. There’s obviously a chance he’ll do all those things again, but if not, he’ll have a much better chance than his odds suggest. I make him a true 14/1 shot and has been as high as 28. Now 20. Had a “saver” in the place market at an average of 6.31. If he wins will be my biggest win since the 2000 Guineas.Done the AOB second and third strings. Agenda ran well in behind the ill fated Chester Vase winner and Chief Little Rock ran away with the Gallinule last time. Do like Diego too, but he’s too short in the win market. Took a bit of odds against to place. Ran well in the French Guineas considering it was his first run. It’s possible the Prix Du Jockey Club flop was due to the soft ground – didn’t give his running in the Futurity either. He is a bit more enthusiastic than his two half brothers Broome and Point Lonsdale, but he should stay this far.
