I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a huge horse running on the flat. I thought he was going to go through the fence when he veered towards the rail.I’m amazed they can get him in the stalls! Love him!

Fair play to him. That was impressive. Nice to see the Derby form boosted.

Agree with Ginger. It made no sense at all to run Arrest on that ground.

King Of steel is absolutely massive. He dwarfed every horse in the race. Freak

King Of Steel is so big he blots out the Sun.

King Of Steel is so big that if he actually makes contact with another horse as he lugs over towards a rail he’s liable to put it on the deck.

King Of Steel is the BigG of racehorses.

King Of Steel’s great-great-ad infinium grandfather pulled Boudica’s chariot on his Todd and was unbeaten with Charlton Heston in the plate in Ben-Hur.

Show me a man (or woman) who isn’t literally terrified of King Of Steel and I’ll show you a hero, a heroine, or a fool.

stunning looking horse, surely only improve through season and as a 4 year old

Anyone heard anything if he is likely to take in the Arc this year?

can see it has King George Entry, but a bit of cut at Longchamp in October surely going to suit the horse perfectly

Grand Prix de Paris next if horse is ok. He is in the Leger, the Arc, Champions Day would be an option too. The French race will tell us more.

The trainer: “The Grand Prix de Paris is a strong option for him as there were 20 days between Epsom and Ascot and there are 21 days between Ascot and the Longchamp race. We entered him in the International at York this morning as we’d love to run him over ten furlongs at some point as he’s not slow – he has a lot of pace. I’m not saying he would definitely run in it, but he will have the option and we could also think about supplementing him for the Irish Champion Stakes. The second half of the season needs to formulate itself, but we could look at the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe or the Champion Stakes at Ascot, while I know the owner has a thing for the Breeders’ Cup. I think this horse is good enough for us to have conversations about that type of race.”

I guess I better bet him next time out, as we seem to be related or have similar genes.
    Thanks Chezza.

King Of Steel is indeed the equine BigG – only obviously not quite as big, as no one, but no one, is as big and scary as BigG.
