I’m laughing at the poor saps who bothered to attend this rubbish racing in the pouring rain – serve them right
Racing going through a really strange period the last month. A lot of winners you couldnt really make a case for being backed and winning, hardly anything with back class at a price coming in. My strike rate is rock solid but the prices just aren’t there at the moment. Those Kempton prices would normally have me salivating but I didn’t get a bean there tonight.
I used to enjoy those Kempton night meetings, used to pick up a bit on them, even had some fat doubles somehow. But when I see Kempton in the bookies I just think, yeah, maybe it’s time those flats were built on it, because that’s more useful than the bookies’ retirement scheme it is at present. Lingfield all-weather pricks me off as well.
