Another very taking performance.
The impressive thing is, we haven’t seen him off the bridle for a few races, all Ruby is doing is giving him a bit more reign and he is going and running on very strongly.
That was better than backing a dozen winners. He simply won’t be beaten at Cheltenham. The Ferrari V The Tank and i’m seeing red
Another excellent performance from Kauto Star (as expected). Such a classy horse.
All roads lead to Cheltenham now. Fingers crossed Kauto, Denman, Exotic Dancer and the other Gold Cup hopefuls get there safe and sound.
Another outstanding performance and a few interesting observations from The Star’s victory today.
Fair Along set a really decent pace and Kauto Star still travelled with embarrassing ease and his jumping, which many still question, was spot-on – flawless. As I’ve said before, he’s one of the most intelligent fencers I’ve seen.
The links below will display what will, I believe, be the difference between KS and the rest in the Gold Cup. I watched with interest today, he did it again and it’s his most powerful weapon.
His acceleration between the second last and final fence is incredible and that is what will defeat Denman and Co. In last years Gold Cup he looked beat turning in, but the race was over approaching the last.
