Emboldened by that 15/8 success, Forever William and Saint Segal are my two against the field in the 4yo Handicap Hurdle tomorrow.

The Irish are expected to dominate and are priced accordingly, but my duo are the pick of the weights among the UK entries on my numbers.

I don’t buy into the assumption Vauban improved massively on his hurdles debut last time out.

Pied Piper was very impressive at Cheltenham and I think he wins the Triumph.

I reckon both Vauban and Pied Piper improved the normal amounts after their matchup, can see it being a sprint to the finish between the two of them and hopefully Vaubans got too much speed.

Although I run a private handicap of all U.K. juvenile hurdle races, I find it hard to see beyond those two, Ben.

Agreed, only thing that could happen is Fil Dor wins if the ground becomes all boggy/tacky after the mix of weather we’ve just had, hopefully it’s sunny enough today and drains well enough overnight for it to be half decent come Friday lunchtime.

Agree. Really surprised he is not favourite.

Thank you, CAS – the Wolf is kept from the door for the next 24 hours, at least!

Chadlington Lad for me at Hereford tomorrow.

Juvenile hurdler Aliomaana from Milton Harris’s yard is declared in the £26k handicap hurdle at Kelso tomorrow and is expected to go well, gets 18 pounds from the jolly allowing for the claim. https://www.racingpost.com/racecards/27/kelso/2022-03-26/805285/

Krypton Gold and the dangerous-looking Vera Verto are my duo against the field at Ascot tomorrow.

The latter wasn’t far behind HMS Seahorse and Brazil before winning last time out and looks potentially well handicapped here.
