Kilbeggan 1.20.I felt it was well worth a speculative little each way on one of the outsiders as well there and he was mentioned in despatches.
But a great training feat there to get Asserted ready to strike first time. Got the job done well. Wins 9/2.

Worth chancing.“She’s only ever worked with one other horse at home and was just away one time at the Curragh for some work before Down Royal. She was never out of stalls before today — she’s a real pro. She has a beautiful attitude. We’ll take baby steps but with her pedigree it would be important to look for some black type on the Flat later in the year.”

Nearly went the weekend without a Willie Mullins winner until Hemlock ( ex Mullins) went through with his effort at Perth. Joseph O’Briens Asserted was the best of the day defying a 798 day absence to win in Ireland.
Free Wind beat the odds on favourite at Goodwood by
