1 WINNER and 1 second yesterday SIGN OF VICTORY WON the bumper at Ludlow, one to put on your ‘ones to follow’ list, this horse looks like it has a very bright future and one to definitely consider next time out.

Horses that have caught the eye recently to put on your ‘ones to follow’ list:
    IRVING
    LANSDOWNE PRINCESS
    DAYMAR BAY
    SIGN OF VICTORY

You can set up an email reminder with Attheraces horse tracker which is free, and an email is sent to you the day before your listed horse is due to run. i will also flag them up on this site.

Today at Newcastle trainers i like best are: D.McCain, L.Russell, J. Ewart, and N. Richards. K. Reveley. I see Kim Bailey has sent runners to the northern track so i would have to respect those. Also S.Crawford has sent runners over from Ireland, i always respect his runners in national hunt flat races where he excels.

Horses i like best at Newcastle are: NEXT SENSATION in the 1.45
and GOT THE NAC e.w. currently 7-1 e.w. in the 3.25

At Cheltenham especially this meeting D. Pipe does well, also N.Twiston Davies, Nicky Henderson, P. Hobbs and P. Nichols need to be respected.

The two horses i like best are: in the 1.35 PARSNIP PETE e.w currently 12-1, ROSIE PROBERT e.w. in the 3.50 currently 9-1

1 WINNER at Newcastle yesterday. NEXT SENSATION, Parsnip Pete was up there but his jumping let him down. The other two were disappointing.

At Wetherby trainers i like are D. McCain, JonJo Oneill Sue Smith
    and James Ewart

TRESOR DE LISLE in the 2.40 is interesting he won really well last time out and had had a wind op, so may go on to win again.

At Cheltenham Nichols, Henderson, Pipe, Twiston Davies and Hobbs and Martin Keighley all do well here.

D.Pipe does particularly well in the Paddy Power, so one of my considerations for that race is BALLYNAGOUR e.w., i also like the course specialist CHAMPIONS COURT e.w.

In the 1.50 i like another Pipe horse GOULANE and in the bumper i really like MAYFAIR MUSIC e.w. currently 5-1

Before i comment on todays racing, i was at Hexham yesterday and i have one or two to follow from the paddock.

First of all DORMOUSE mentioned each way was 3rd at 16-1.

I think Morning time was beaten by the weight, the other selection DOTTIES DILEMMA was a good looking sort whose run came to an end when he hit the penultimate fence, i really like him physically and i think he is one to stick with especially when the ground is less testing than yesterday.

The best looking horse of the day in the paddock was FORCED FAMILY FUN, who was an easy winner for J. Quinn and B. Hughes, one to put in your ones to follow list, and SNUKER is a grand strong looking horse who loves testing ground and could win again stepped back up in trip, he won yesterday 2m 4f, but is best suited over further.

Today at MARKET RASEN statistically the trainers i like best are:
Fergal O’Brien, JonJo O’Neill, Peter Bowen, D McCain, Malcolm Jefferson

    i like HOWABOUTNOW AT 12.30

at WINCANTON Paul Nichols does well here and i like SOUND INVESTMENT at 1.50 and TANTE SISSI at 3.00 an extra statistic for this course is 6 year olds do well in the 12.50

At Chepstow i like LE GRAND CHENE ew in the 1.10 and Robert Walford has a 50% strike rate with handicap debutants in chase races and i like UMBERTO D’OLIVATE at 2.50

2 WINNERS today HOWABOUTNOW at 3-1 and UMBERTO D’OLIVATE 9-4, Tante Sisse fell and the other two were disappointing, i mentioned that the stats showed that 6 year olds had the best strike rate in the 12.50 Wincanton out of 14 runners only 4 were 6 year old and the winner Massena was one of them!

At Ascot Nicky Henderson does really well here, an interesting factor is in the 2.40 at Ascot 7 year olds have won 5 of the last 6 contests, taking this into consideration the horse i like best at Ascot is in the 2.40 DOUBLE ROSS

At HAYDOCK Paul Nichols does well here as does Nicky Henderson and Venetia Williams.

At Ffos Las, Peter Bowen does well, as does Evan Williams, Rebecca Curtis. The horses i like best are: BILLYBO in the 3.25, and FLYING EAGLE at 4.00

Great stuff Eyecatcher. Irving and Flying Eagle win. Double for Curtis at Ffos Las and half Haydock’s winners come from Nicholls/Venetia stables.

At Ascot N. Henderson has to be respected as does D. Pipe, A.Kin Nichols and Kim Bailey also do well here and H. Daly has a 33% strike rate over hurdles here. It is one of his runners that i like best at the Berkshire track: UPBEAT COBBLER in the 1.30

At Haydock trainers that do well here are P. Nichol, Henderson, V. Williams and D. McCain. and Kim Bailey has a 20% strike rate over fences and its one of his runners that i like best here THE RAINBOW HUNTER e.w. current price 8-1 in the 3.35. I also like TWO ROCKERS e.w. at 2.25

1 WINNER today a third and two disappointed, when i saw Lansdowne Princess run last time out she was running on in an eye catching way and i added her to the list as i thought she looked like she , could win next time out, and that was today, and the way she ran today im removing her from my list. I did see an impressive horse in Ireland today that looks sure to go onto good things and im adding him to my list: APACHE STRONGHOLD.

HERE IS THE LIST OF ‘ONES TO NOTE’ SO FAR!

FIVE IN A ROW – A paddock standout at Carlisle that won the bumper so easily, the horse he beat has won well since, ive read he may be running at Newcastle next weekend.
    CHESTERTON
MUWALLA – 2m needs g/firm ground at Sedgefield
    DAYMAR BAY
    IRVING
    SIGN OF A VICTORY
    SYDNEY PAGET
    MORE OF THAT
    APACHE STRONGHOLD

I missed two horses off my list yesterday the two i saw at Hexham last week so i have added them on this post.

HERE IS THE LIST OF ‘ONES TO NOTE’ SO FAR!

FIVE IN A ROW – A paddock standout at Carlisle that won the bumper so easily, the horse he beat has won well since, ive read he may be running at Newcastle next weekend.
CHESTERTERN – good looking horse ran promising behind Pendra and Eduard at Carlisle, one to note
MUWALLA – 2m4f needs g/firm ground at Sedgefield
DAYMAR BAY backed into favourite last time out, made eyecatching progress from way back to finish second last time
IRVING a P.Nichols horse to follow
SIGN OF A VICTORY a Henderson horse to follow
SYDNEY PAGET a good looking horse impressive jumper and looks very progressive
MORE OF THAT looks an exciting prospect
APACHE STRONGHOLD looks a very exciting prospect
SNUKER – great jumper won over 2m4f at Hexham last week, testing ground fine but further is ideal having won over 3m 2f previously, he looks like a horse to follow.
FORCED FAMILY FUN – looked great in the paddock and won effortlessly, looks like he could be winning again.

At KEMPTON Nicky Henderson does really well and he looks like he could have several winner today all at very small prices, Nichols, King and Hobbs also do well here.

Im liking HIGHLAND RETREAT trained by Harry Fry hopefully this one wont be odds on in the 1.30

At LUDLOW trainers that do well are Evan Williams, V. Williams, D. Evans, P. Hobbs and B. Ellison.

I had this one on my list at the start of the autumn. He’s a big animal who has taken time to strengthen into his frame but gave encouragement in the spring and has really got going now. He looks to me to still be a fair bit lower in the handicap than his true ability.

1 WINNER 1 ran poorly yesterday.

Today at WETHERBY trainers that do well here are D, McCain, Sue Smith, Brian Ellison, M. Jefferson, and Todhunter.

In the 12.15 NEPTUNE EQUESTER is a true horses for courses horse and has to be respected.

Interestingly in the 1.20 3 of the last odds on favourites have been beaten in this race, so it may be worth taking on Diamond King, id be interested in BEAUJOLAIS currently 4-1 or SECRETE STREAM e.w. currently 10-1

In the 2.25 JOHN QUINN does really well with juvenile maiden hurdles and RUTHERGLEN deserves respect

The horse i like best at WETHERBY is FIRTH OF THE CLYDE at 3.00 currently 5-2

At FONTWELL trainers that do well are G. Moore, P. Hobbs, A. Honeyball and E.Lavelle

In the 1.10 i like CROWD CREEPER best current price 4-1
