Fingers crossed, that’ll be a very nice double indeed, not many in the race that look like they prefer ground that fast so yours could be well in
Best of British mate
May 29, 2012 at 14:43 #405925BANG!!!!! Get in there!

Well done mate
May 29, 2012 at 16:49 #405934Thanks GDC – he never sends them up there just for fun does he? Good timing as it’s the wife’s birthday this weekend. She’ll get a card now.

May 29, 2012 at 18:00 #405939Hi Joni, I backed these two on your recommendation so pleased with that, great shout.
May 29, 2012 at 18:43 #405943It’s been a quiet week but it all hots up this week.
I am a glutton for punishment and will be backing 2 Cecil horses that let me down last time.Searing Heat
is supposed to be so much better than a 63 rated handicapper. I missed the 12’s, grabbed the 11’s he is now 10’s. It might just be that he is useless but he finally runs on decent ground and I expect him to improve massively for that.
Emilio Largo
didnt handle the all weather last time out and ran very well before that. He has been dropped 2 lbs and I think he will go close at 9-2.
I’ve doubled up on them as well.
Whos’s the Daddy? Now thats what I call tipping, its the ‘I’ve doubled up on them’ that really sets it off! Well done mate and like you say Henry doesn’t send them up there for nothing! Thats a 50/1 double at the prices! Ginge put that in your pipe and smoke it!
May 29, 2012 at 19:58 #405955Great stuff Joni! Wished I’d followed you in, sadly not though.

May 31, 2012 at 10:26 #406115Great double the other day Joni……
Hope you took some of the evens on St Nic?, with Monterosso now out best price 8/13.
Blackbeard to conquer the World
May 31, 2012 at 14:31 #406157Thanks Nath. Not on him unfortunately but can’t really see him getting beat. I like Beaten Up but he has plenty to prove at this level.
Looking forward to Sandown this evening. A huge night for Sir Michael. He has so little ammunition this year so much is riding on Carlton House and Tales of Grimm. I won’t be backing either but expect to see Carlton House win. He has been working well and should have the class to beat these easily.
There will be no excuses for Top Offer either but that race looks almost as good as the Guineas! Plenty of unexposed types. A night for watching not for betting.

June 1, 2012 at 20:35 #406318So am swamped with in-laws this weekend so will have to keep it brief.
Was happy to watch the Oaks today without a bet. No pun intended. Isnt it a bit annoying that we can no longer use verbs, nouns or adjectives in posts without people thinking we are tipping something from O’Brien’s stable?
Maybe
the race
was
over too
soon
for The Fugue.
Tomorrow I have a 33-1 ap running on Main Sequence but I can’t say I really expect him to win. Might run into a place but suspect it’s going to be another big day for "the lads" though which one wins is anyones guess the way they are winning with 3rd, 4th and 8th strings.
My only other bet tomorrow is
Wrotham Heath
at 6’s in the opener. I said last time he ran that I thought he was well handicapped and he runs off the same mark tomorrow. He didn’t stay last time out but travelled really well until his stamina ran out. With the stable in tip top form he is worth another chance. His galloping partner is rated 112.

June 2, 2012 at 15:42 #406451Good shout with
Wrotham Heath
Joni, but an even better one with
Main Sequence
at 33/1,he stayed on like a good un and proves why e/w is critical when analysis is based on having an Ante-Post wager!
June 2, 2012 at 17:47 #406479Well done Joni today
June 2, 2012 at 18:56 #406488A double like that is the stuff that dreams are made of Joni Well done!
June 2, 2012 at 22:34 #406518Thanks guys. Just watched the races and thought Wrotham did it well as he didnt handle the track. Cecil horses are flying and this one will go to RA now.
What to say about the Derby? On first glance the winner looks pure class. How good the form is only time will tell but the Triple Crown is there for them. I said at the start of the year that the Black Caviar/Frankel talk will be replaced by Camelot/Frankel talk. I really hope that happens but cant think when. The Eclipse is unlikely. Perhaps The Juddmonte or The Champion.
Main Sequence did me proud and David Lanigan is a man to watch over the next few years.
