Sorry Litts – wasn’t to be. I’m so frustrated as I have backed Expert Eye twice this year!!! In hindsight a strong gallop on quick ground was always likely to suit.
A really disappointing day but we live to fight another day. I’m putting one up now as there is money coming for First Eleven who I think will prove to be very well handicapped.
£50ew First Eleven – 13-2 – King George V Stakes placed

June 21, 2018 at 10:01 #1357698So it’s been a challenging start to the week but onwards and upwards and hope for better luck today.
I haven’t a clue who will win the opener so ignoring that. I’m on Wadlisifa in the Hampton Court already and First Eleven in the last.
The Ribblesdale is a fascinating race with proven classic form coming up against unproven potential. I wasn’t going to back Sun Maiden but the stable form and the comments I keep reading have persuaded me to change my mind. She should certainly love the ground and missing Epsom is often good idea if you want to win this race. I have also had an ew on Magic Wand though as I think you will see a different horse this time on fast ground. Not convinced Wild Illusion will like it.
The Gold Cup looks a great race with the 3 at the top of market all potential worthy winners. I’ve always been a fan of Stradivarius and he will do for me.
The Brittania looks wide open but I have had ew’s on two I think could go well at big prices. Ostillo just crept in to the race at the bottom of the handicap. He was the only one that got within a street of Without Parole at Yarmouth and then he won easily next time out. Il Primo Sole is well regarded and will love this ground.
I’ve also done a couple of cheeky doubles and trebles on the Frankel’s.
£100 win Sun Maiden – 11-4 – 3.40 Royal Ascot lost
£50ew Magic Wand – 4-1 – 3.40 Royal Ascot winner
£100 win Stradivarius – 15-8 – 4.20 Royal Ascot winner
£25ew Ostillo – 16-1 – 5.00 Royal Ascot winner
£25ew Il Primo Sole – 16-1 – 5.00 Royal Ascot placed
£3ew 5 fold and 4 fold accumulators – Wadilsifa, Sun Maiden/Magic Wand, Stradivarius, Ostillo, IL Primo Sole, First Eleven
£10 win doubles and 5 win trebles ALL the Frankel’s at Royal Ascot +£125.03"this perfect mix of poetry and destruction, this glory of rhythm, power and majesty: the undisputed champion of the world!!!"
