Obviously all about GDC here, though I suppose Fastorslow is big enough at 7’s
If Stattler runs like he did at Cheltenham in March, then he’ll get lapped, but having actually considered Appreciate It, I have to go with my old pal Stattler to run into second. If they’ve got him back (which I’m not convinced they will have), then I had to take the 28’s. Bet him for Aintree and Cheltenham this year anyway, so might as we throw some more his way tomorrow
Stattler 28’s EW
November 25, 2023 at 17:58 #1671820I’ll be backing fastorslow , far to big in my eyes
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 25, 2023 at 21:50 #1671846Can’t find much of a bet on that card so I’ve just doubled Imagine and Galopin for an interest, and put them in an acca with Danny Mullins’ rides in the chases at Cork as I think they’re all nice horses (Night and Day, En Beton, Macdermott- those 3 are all odds against so I’ve had a bit on each of them individually too).
November 25, 2023 at 22:31 #1671853If the Gold Cup winner is ready then a no contest but Appreciate It is a not too serious interest.
The more I know the less I understand.
November 26, 2023 at 01:54 #1671883RTB plus we’ll see if the GC has left a mark on GDC
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 26, 2023 at 14:38 #1671934Lol love it , the stats never lie , you take the GC winners on
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 26, 2023 at 14:40 #1671936Well done HDLG.
Proper Grade 1 race that.
Appreciate it ran a stormer and it was nice to see Stattler lobbing away till he got outpaced.
Fastorslow a deserved winner.November 26, 2023 at 14:41 #1671937Poor ride from Townend. Why hold a Gold Cup horse up over 2 miles 3?
Get on with it and stop it getting tactical.November 26, 2023 at 14:41 #1671938Wd winners
November 26, 2023 at 14:43 #1671939Mike sorry that’s bollocks , nowt to do with the jockey , beaten fair and square , some iffy jumping and like Punchestown he got tapped for speed
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 26, 2023 at 14:45 #1671941Green don’t you think Stattler looks like a national horse …. as I hold some 50s tickets

Don’t lose them down the back of the sofa anyway.
November 26, 2023 at 14:47 #1671943Agree HDLG, nothing wrong with the ride atall, gave the horse every chance and looked after him when he wasnt closing, just lacked the gears for the trip, not sure what the blowup is aboit, the horse who beat him last time, beats him again?
Doesnt change anything currently imo, he was close enough from a layoff, didnt tail off, jumped fine bar 3 out, looked in need of the run?
November 26, 2023 at 14:49 #1671945Wd HDLG, Mullins had one turned over at 1/8 earlier on the card by 24l.
The more I know the less I understand.
November 26, 2023 at 14:50 #1671946Ham Fastorslow doesn’t normally win first time out , he’s now beaten him twice over 2 different distances …. has the GC claimed another horse
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 26, 2023 at 14:54 #1671948Rtb fair to say while his stats are ok Mullins isn’t motoring yet , the 1/8 looked to have a issue … poss back
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 26, 2023 at 14:59 #1671950Exactly ham lacked the gears for the trip. Should’ve made it a test.Won his 2 and a half mile races being exuberant. If he’d got on with it would Appreciate It beat him? That horse is 2 stone inferior. Unsatisfactory race to watch for me. GDC was making jumping errors too going that steady. Winning jockey described the race as a sprint. Winner in amongst it for Cheltenham atm as he won again. Let’s see at DRF where GDC is as that will be a proper race.
