    Agreed Charles, Fox Norton will probably be the owners rep, although suspect the Lexus may come too soon after that too.

    Well done all Sizing John backers, he was certainly fitter than I thought he might be and looks the one to beat in staying chases. Djakadam didn’t jump for Townend anywhere near like he can for Walsh. That said, it made no difference to the result. Good to see the Sub back aswell.

    I didn’t see the problem with the distance, SJ had raced against Douvan at shorter and not been disgraced
    If anything Willie keeps preserving in Cheltenham Gold Cup races with Djackadam despite having better options previously ie Vautour
