I remember watching that and was so impressed with the jockey, Hugh Morgan, he just doesn’t seem to be riding much at all now, less than 40 this last season.
Here is today’s race, in case anyone has not seen it. The main incident is at about 2 minutes 30 seconds:
I wasn’t there, but a friend who was sent me footage of him coming into the winner’s enclosure and you’d think he just rode the Champion Hurdle winner at Cheltenham with every punter there on at over the odds.
It was deafening.
Quite heart warming, actually.

Off topic but De Bromhead who he is attached to just doesn’t get the quantity of winners with moderate horses that a lot of trainers do. Mikey O’Connor appears to be the 3 pound claimer more used too.
