It seems that all is forgiven (not sure what the problem was in the first place). Laurina and Saglawy gone from Mullins yard to Nichols; not much of an explanation. Is it just that Sullivan wants to see if a change of scenery will bring them on? Will he still have horses with Mullins & Henderson? He has a lot of horses with Mullins; some decent ones as well; Stormy Ireland, Real Steel, Duc Des Genievres.. Be interesting to see if he’s rowing back his investment in Mullins yard; he’s probably Mullins number 2 owner after Ricci
July 24, 2020 at 20:33 #1494863I dont think the figures would say hes his #2 owner, on quantity maybe but the list hes lost is largely just ok, stormy ireland & reel steel probably the biggest loss in terms of this seasons promise, but im sure what hurts the most similarly to giggi leaving is that mullins would have sourced most if not all of these horses to begin with. Different someone bringing a horse in then taking it away.
Im sure the boxes will be filled already. I hope they are, harsh this sort of of thing happening in any yard even at the top.
You wouldnt be surprised in this climate if yards start to struggle to fill boxes though, this climate will surely have a massive impact on all these yards. Thats another subject anyway, one for the winter.
Ps, incase you missed it vatour, the reason given was he wanted them in the uk…
