The 2m4f novice handicape chase is back this year. Is has replaced the 2m4f novice chase (grade 1) and I think that is a good thing.
Today I saw Answer to Kayf winning a novice handicap chase at Naas winning from 130. His hurdle form is 138 and last year he was a close 4th in the Martin Pipe, two lenghtes behind Better Days Ahead. The Jack Richards Novice Handicap Chase looks the obvious race for him.

Johnnywho of interest here, but I like him for loads, and I’d suspect he’ll go up in trip, so even with NRNB, I’ll leave him
The one I have bet is Shanbally Kid. Like him a lot, and after mucking about all season, I’ve bet him to come good next week at Leopardstown.
He’d surely have to feature next week to book his ticket here, so even with 40’s available, I’ve taken the 25’s NRNB

Springwell Bay 8/1 – Nice performance last day, previous to that was not too far behind Jango Baie, fair to say that forms looking decent.
Firefox, wasn’t quite up to the Graded races he has been running in.
The more I know the less I understand.
Asian Master and Answer To Kayf were my Antepost bets 8s and 10s.
The ground has gone for the latter though so I added Firefox a few days back at 15/2. I’d say he has a huge chance now on the drying ground.
I did Firefox to win any race at 5/1 ages ago
Wasn’t expecting him to end up here when I placed it but here we are

The new course looked dead in that first race so worried about Firefox coming up the hill over 2m4f now.
Springwell Bay isn’t short of class and should be going close here.
Loads of old favourites I could get stuck into, but I don’t want to go mad, so I’ll stick with the one and hope to see good runs from my old friends.
I’ve added some more of Answer to Kayf at 18s via the exchange with the New Course looking Slower.
