A very strong field line up for this poignant race.

Racheal Blackmore and Henry De Bromhead have Bob Olinger running here.
Look elsewhere if you please as it is a competitive looking race, but with a very good second last time I am not looking for any other winner here.
Flooring Porter was very unlucky in this race last year with klassical dream stealing a march at the start. The two finished 20 lengths clear.
FP won the race two years ago ending Apples jade’s three year winning streak. no klassical dream today and therefore holds very strong claims here.

Reverse forecast with flooring Porter.
Usual bet on Sire Du Berlais for me.
He’s surely Pertemps bound on last run, but I thought he showed well enough for a long way at Navan, and they can get a tube out of him at this level now and then, so I’m happy to take the chance.

But if he does stay then he will win as he has way more speed than any of these and probably end the day as stayers hurdle fav
If he doesn’t stay strongly enough, which is very much my gut feeling, I’m hoping to see a flooring porter win
Danny Mullins deserves a ban for failing to ride Flooring Porter out to the line costing him 3rd place.
I haven’t watched the race yet, just seen the result. Home By Lee seems to be in the form of his life

De Bromheads stable is in shocking form and it’s been that way for well over a year now barring a few class performers like A Plus Tard and Honeysuckle.
Bob Olinger never lifted a leg there. I could blame the trip if he’d have travelled strongly into the race then failed to get home but you could see he was feeling the heat a long way from home even with the patient ride.Yeah poor Henry, I’m not sure if the form of his horses had dipped before the tragedy he suffered but someone else (unfortunately I can’t remember who) suggested he may not be able to give training his full attention right now, something which I would fully expect, I’ve certainly been affected at work before with things much less painful than what he’s going through – I really find it hard to understand how anyone would be able to give their all or best effort in anything in their lives for a long time after going through what he has.
Absolutely F-ing kicking myself – didn’t think it was a fluke last time, said so here, rated it accordingly, didn’t take the 7/1 today.
Wins the Stayers’ Hurdle – Klassical Dream the only danger for me.
