ITV in talks to extend tv rights until 2024

I am not a subscriber to The Times so the link only shows first few paragraphs but basically it is likely RMG and itv will agree to a £30m extension to itv’s contract as racing authorities are delighted with the channel’s coverage.

This appears to be a deal between RMG and itv not sure how that affects ARC and Ascot I assume they will follow suit and agree it RMG agrees to extend it.

ITV will again commit to showing almost 100 days of racing each year in the new deal, guaranteeing the most air-time given to any sport on a terrestrial channel.
