Scotland and England are friends again thanks to TRF.

Now for Russia and Ukraine.
Value Is EverythingJanuary 23, 2022 at 05:16 #1579419Bloody hell… almost eighteen hours with no political squabbling here! 😳
Yesterday’s racing must have been good! 😂
January 23, 2022 at 06:56 #1579422It certainly was! There has been lots of chat this week about how the NH season should not just be about four days in March. This weekend has shown why.
The Ascot duel was the highlight but I think the Lingfield meeting has been good too. I also thought Royal Pagaille was terrific at Haydock and Yala Enki winning the race at Taunton for the third year in a row was a great story as well.
It has been a really enjoyable weekend of racing with the promise of more to come at Lingfield and Thurles today.
Who cares about politics?!
January 23, 2022 at 07:02 #1579423100% – the Cheltenham Festival is great, but it’s only PART of the Jumps season and yesterday was a real throwback to the days when the season had a narrative.
The more days like yesterday the better.

January 23, 2022 at 10:53 #1579444Unanimous. tbh I’ve been struggling to get interested when it comes to horse racing over the last year or so. Yesterday has brought all the old enthusiasm back in bucket loads.
Value Is EverythingJanuary 23, 2022 at 11:13 #1579448Big thumbs up from me too, a terrific day’s racing. Shishkin/Energumene was
a titanic battle that will stay in the memory long. The horse I’ve followed
from the start of the season, Royale Pigaille, was unfortunate to come up
against the fav for the Gold Cup 1st time out although he ran a good race,
but what a performance yesterday giving lumps of weight away to some good
horses. The never say die Yala Enke too. More of this please
January 23, 2022 at 11:25 #1579451Big G I’ve a bit hard on Nicholls saying he does do a lot with horses from other yards , def not the case with Yala , at 12 he,s ran 2 crackers this season , no doubting the the correct placing helps but the yard have handled this lad beautifully
January 23, 2022 at 11:46 #1579455Love to see Yala Enke making the running in a soft ground Grand National.
Value Is EverythingJanuary 23, 2022 at 12:20 #1579459Agreed HDLG, he’s done the old boy well the last 3 years.
January 23, 2022 at 14:59 #1579509I’m having lunch thid week with a friend who at oxford with Johnson and detests him. She is adamant hes even more venal and snobbish than even his dreadful.pubpic image
It is interesting how many people that have worked closely with him genuinely hate the fat lump. People such as max hastings and gavin barwell too. Blokes who are definitely worth the time of day
Today’s further revelations simply confirm that the tories are greatly toxifying their own party by supporting this ****
A Thatcher moment coming or perhaps a jfk one

But English voters have already factored in his incompetence and lies, so the rest of us are stuck with him
