This Weetabix Ad, Fun isn’t it? Although they call it "Stakes" and it’s a NH race. Wadda they know? <!– s:roll: –>
<!– s:roll: –>November 5, 2009 at 21:39 #257320Well, yes I have smiled the three times I have seen it so that’s a good sign. Actually it’s pretty good as far as most ads go! The talking horse is funny.
November 6, 2009 at 09:39 #257386For some reason it seems to have put my three year old off his weetabix.

November 6, 2009 at 12:24 #257410False alarm, he has just finished a bowl of weetabix he wanted it all along just that he fancied ice cream and baked beans 1st.

November 6, 2009 at 12:32 #257412see that little guy run , i think the odds on that win would be millions to one
November 13, 2009 at 21:13 #258549Where do you think they filmed it? Looks like a French provincial meeting, with all those trees and open plain grandstand, although the jumps are mocked up to look like Aintree. The long shots look Australian though.
November 14, 2009 at 18:04 #258658Minimal effort to say the least on the second. Makes me think its an Irish track!
Then again we don’t have water jumps over here and he clearly leaves his hind leg in one.
November 14, 2009 at 19:21 #258671It was filmed at a track just outside Prague.

November 14, 2009 at 20:06 #258680Well how about that?
January 4, 2010 at 23:10 #13702BRILLIANT.
Roller skating breakdancing babies. Just brilliant.
Maybe the BHA should use the same ad agency to promote racing

Those Evian adverts scare me!
The Weetabix advert did a good job for the BHA didn’t it?
January 4, 2010 at 23:21 #267733My little un certainly likes it!
I think the WKD ones are the best by far. The latest one with the lads sat in the van watching the other team warm up is an absolute classic and something I see (and am part of) on a regular basis..
January 5, 2010 at 00:00 #267745I hate it; there’s something about it that makes my flesh crawl [my daughter agrees as well]. I also dislike ads where they give children adult voices. I also loathed the [short lived] ad for Shreddies that said ‘knitted by grannies’….I think it’s put me off shreddies for life!
January 5, 2010 at 13:53 #267874Just seen the ad – nice to hear it’s been set to Dan The Automator’s reasonably sympathetic reinterpretation of the Sugarhill Gang’s groundbreaking "Rappers’ Delight", though I prefer the original even more.

January 5, 2010 at 15:30 #267913One of those ads where you go "Wow", and three runs later go "I’m a bit bored with this now".
Shelf Life.
January 6, 2010 at 21:47 #268331I created that
