I wonder if Kieren Fallon’s position with Mr. Cumani is now untenable ?
Having lost the ride on one of the stable stars i.e. Presvis, last season, he is now unused by the stable’s principal patron , the Sheikh, along with Dr Koukash.
Today at Newbury Mr Cumani had a runner in the 1.50 owned by Mr Marinopoulos, while Fallon had no ride. Later in the 5.00 Cumani won the race with a Wildenstein runner ridden by Moore which was heavily bet, whilst Fallon was second on a Godolphin runner which drifted.
I cannot see how Cumani can continue using a stable jockey when at least 3 of the major patrons will not use him.

I do no think Kieren was ever stable jockey as such, it was more a gentleman’s agreement which worked fine for a time. If some of the stable’ s main owners want someone else, that’s their choice, but I can not see why they would do so. I am sure there are many big race wins ahead for both Fallon and Cumani, although having read Chris Cook’ s piece in The Guardian last Saturday, it appears that the relationship is not what it once was.
