Talented with some big successes to his name yet largely ignored (even by the Charlie Hills stable) and struggling to get rides on his return to UK, even at the height of the flat racing season.
Does a few years away from the UK racing scene so seriously undermine chances of a successful return? It’s not like he’s come back unable to ride at a competetive weight (he’s done 8st 8lb) and after watching him win on some of his rides this year, he’s clearly more talented than a lot of others on the scene.
Maybe once you’re out of fashion, that’s it; times and loyalties move on.
A pity really. Although not quite a Dettori or an Eddery, at his peak he was very good.September 29, 2016 at 09:48 #1265057He was Sacked by the hills yard in may so to get sacked by the person who brought you back over here he must be something worst not just his awful riding

They offered him the position of stable jockey, then wouldn’t give him any rides.
