Hadn’t twigged that this was the likely plan for Cross Counter. No Uber recent quotes but seems the plan before Aus. For all Kew Gardens should improve for stepping back up, Cross Counter at 7/2 looks to me a very decent bet.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!September 10, 2019 at 23:40 #1453354Kew gardens seems to be a horse who thrives on racing and always needs the run after a break looking at his record
That they paid to supplement southern France has to be a strong suggestion that they don’t think kew gardens is fully wound up for this
Cross counter looks a good bet to me
Will wait for the decs to come through though I think
September 11, 2019 at 10:36 #1453380I’m loving the 10’s for Latrobe, and particularly the 12’s for Buckhurst.
I reckon that’s a fair each way price for the pair of them, but being in same ownership, can’t possibly bet the pair of them just now.
No option but to sit out just now.
September 11, 2019 at 11:06 #1453386CAPRI 16/1
Seem strange prices for him 6s with power of course form gone to pot but no doubt this trip right for him won at course before go for him
September 11, 2019 at 14:06 #1453409Think I will wait till final decs to back cross counter
Just to be on the safe side
September 11, 2019 at 20:27 #1453441Sky bet gone 4/1 cross counter
That is super tempting, but I’m gonna hold on for nrnb
September 13, 2019 at 13:40 #1453833Latrobe declared so I’ve taken the 10’s Each Way. He’s still just a little underrated I reckon, and I think that’s a fair price. I’ll definitely top up if he goes bigger.
September 13, 2019 at 17:03 #1453847Backed cross counter at 3/1 earlier
Has a fitness edge over kew gardens and class edge over the rest of them imo
September 14, 2019 at 18:28 #1454931I’ll throw a few pounds the way of Salouen at 14-1, although I think he might just come up short, I do think that he could make the frame.
September 14, 2019 at 18:30 #1454933I’m with you on Salouen, Kris
will be interesting to see the tactics on him as I thought he ran a blinder when held up in the King GeorgeGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
September 15, 2019 at 13:09 #1455017If I had been on Nathan, I would have definitely joined you in taking him in Pats comp.
Good luck with him today.
September 15, 2019 at 15:30 #1455037C’mon the big lump Southern France Prob needs more ease in the ground but took 12s ew.
September 15, 2019 at 16:35 #1455047Cross Counter very poor there. Nice antepost price as well. The weekend hasn’t gone quite to plan!
