    So where as this horse suddenly got this pace from that it as not show before.

    Carlingford Lough best speed figure was 145, yesterday he ran to figure of 123.

    On the clock, the pace was fast from the outset of the race, resulting in the pace tapering off towards the finish, this played into the hands of Mark Walsh and Carlingford Lough, they simply out stayed the rest in a moderate time.

    Listening to the pundits before and during the meeting, the going was not as bad as they stated, they were going through it quite easily, I had it at -0.73s/f (soft), Irish description (soft to heavy).

    Thanks Guys

    This will hopefully book him a place in The Gold Cup field. No chance obviously in that, but with the projected price I have for him (albeit in my head) he alone could mean the difference between whether I get a Green Book or not, just hope they send him there as a National prep now.
