I believe Gleneagles is about to be withdrawn!!

September 12, 2015 at 15:03 #1203773Gleneagles is out. We sort of knew that when he was trading at 6/1. Maybe the horse has actually been kidnapped? Has anyone actually seen him of late, this Lord Lucan of racing?
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
September 12, 2015 at 15:27 #1203791Didn’t they parade him at York before the Juddmonte….unless it was a actual stand in?

I heard that the “Gleneagles” seen at York turned out to be the Chuckle Brothers in a pantomime costume. They must be short of work but one of them is 71 now, so beggars can’t be choosers.
I think Golden Horn will hose in here and 7/4 looks good. I’ll put Cirrus in for the forecast.

Is he going to run or is Gosden going to pull him out as well?
This flat season has done my head in with all these withdrawals. I can understand trainers not running their horses on extremes of going but the situation is getting plain stupid now and trainers need to stop making excuses, stop talking bollx and start running their horses.
September 12, 2015 at 15:42 #1203800I have had some on Cirrus, ground conditions to suit plus he won first time out this year against race fit rivals and it wouldn’t surprise me if they tried to make all on him either – will be interesting to see how they ride GH this time around as well.
September 12, 2015 at 16:54 #1203881Mmmmm what do we think of the swerve??
September 12, 2015 at 16:54 #1203882Are the ATR lads deliberately talking this up?
Value Is EverythingSeptember 12, 2015 at 16:54 #1203883Here we go again – have to throw him out as Free Eagle lost second place because of the interference
September 12, 2015 at 16:55 #1203884GH a different horse when not pulling and confirms what I’d believed that he wants a trip (imo). Arc should not be a problem unless ground is deep
September 12, 2015 at 16:57 #1203885Looks like I am going to lose this one !! I have backed GH and had forecast with Found LOL
I think the Bondi Beach money is going back to those damned bookie fellows!!
September 12, 2015 at 17:00 #1203886The ATR boys were wittering on about whether Free Eagle can get the race. Clearly that can’t happen.
It was a wild swerve but I think Golden Horn was staying on the best of them. As Joe says, he looks like a horse who needs 12f, the Derby is his best piece of form by miles for me.
Poor Cirrus des Aigles looks totally past it on this evidence.
I can’t believe that the ATR boys are still talking P155 about Free Eagle being awarded the race. That is blatant rubbish and lack of knowledge of the rules. Are they going to disqualify Found as well for no reason then? That’s tripe broadcasting.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
September 12, 2015 at 17:02 #1203889He did actually swerve right handed at York as well – result stands, unbelievable!
September 12, 2015 at 17:03 #1203890What a controversial day this is turning out to be. I think GH has to be thrown out here, he completely stops Free Eagle from winning his race, but the race will have to be given to Found. The problem we have here is he hits him so hard that Free Eagle loses completely all momentum and never has the chance to go by.
September 12, 2015 at 17:04 #1203891Irish commentators coming over as biased here.
For him to say that Golden Horn improved his position is ridiculous.Value Is EverythingSeptember 12, 2015 at 17:06 #1203892After all the fuss the result stands. It was impossible to state that Free Eagle would definitely have beaten Golden Horn without the interference.
Jason Weaver stated that Gary had “called in over at Leopardstown” no he didn’t, he was still talking about Free Eagle being awarded the race. Even now Gary is still saying that Free Eagle would have been awarded the race had he finished second. That is utter crap, it all depends how far he was beaten, it is one horse against the other, Found was irrelevant. That is poor quality reporting and if the pros can’t get it right, what chance do the punters have. Numpty!
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
September 12, 2015 at 17:07 #1203910It would seem that the fact that Free Eagle was cost 2nd place by both incidents doesn’t seem to matter…crazy!
