    That was the worst looking Guineas I’ve seen in a long time whatever the times and ratings have to say about it.

    I somewhat agree with the Hughes slating. Far too negative when it was obvious his only dangers would be setting their own speed from the front. Lost out to team tactics again.

    I thought the form of the first two stood out, like the proverbials. Rod’s speed figures particularly. Or is my memory failing me?

    Forget for a minute how everything ran in the English Guineas. Aidan said his was swept off his feet in the race. Now having said that ROC ran a blinder at the Gurragh, well up to his tyo form.He will be a serious threat in the Derby. Going into it with that race behind him will be a great help.Galileos must stay the trip.Incidentally another son of Sadler’s Wells, Refuse to Bend had a group winner in France over the week end.
