Just a quick hello, I have only just found this site, I have been a member of various racing sites over the years but have taken a break from forums for a couple of years due to time constraints and family commitments.
My elderly mother passed away recently and this has freed up a lot of my time as she was sick for the last few years and constantly in and out of hospital so my hobby, understandably, had to take a back seat.
Although my wife would disagree, I now can devote more time to my favourite pass time,horse racing of course!
This forum looks HUGE with plenty to read so I look forward to learning a great deal from what looks to be a very shrewd membership.
Hi all. Thought I’d just say hello. I’m a new comer to horse racing so apologies for my overall lack of knowledge on the subject! Not sure where to post a couple of queries I have – but I’ll have a go here and apologies!
Firstly, what was the plan for bringing Lammtarra back to the UK (I’m glad they did as I think he’s a tremendous horse). I’m guessing it is to breed brood mares?
Secondly, how come Nijinsky has a lower Timeform rating than Shergar (and 1 or 2 others)?
